At the end of September, I had the opportunity to photograph a birthday tea party for a sweet little girl at our church. Everyone who attended had a great time, and it was so cute to see all of the little ladies snacking on sandwiches and sipping their tea! Here are only a few of the photos that were captured. The birthday girl is on the right. :) Lauren's little sister, Abby, is ready for the party to begin! All of the young ladies! The birthday girl with her friends. Time to open presents! Happy Birthday, Lauren!

Springtime is here and with that comes announcements for 2017 graduates! The year has arrived for my sister, Amanda, who graduates this May! I was soo excited to take her photos and did so in the late afternoon - otherwise known as the "golden hour". The weather was absolutely gorgeous and she looked great in the soft light of the setting sun. Happy Graduation, Amanda! I'm so excited to see what the LORD will do through you in the approaching months and years! May He greatly bless you! She loves playing the violin whenever she gets a chance, so we decided to include a photo of her new, beautiful violin on her graduation announcement.
Are you ready for Spring? Over the past week, my sister and I have been adding new, "Springy" products to our online store, Six Sisters Collection (see button below!). I love product photography and everything involved in making the photos look great. My sister makes the most beautiful paper-bead bracelets and I encourage you to take a look at them... Below are photos of just a few of the bracelets she has for sale. How were these pictures taken? Let me list a few key guidelines to go by:
New product release! Ribbon bookmarks at just $1 each!
Have you ever stopped a minute to look at the delicate beauty displayed in just one little mushroom? They are so unique, and are a fine display of our Creator's handiwork.....yet we often overlook them in our busy life.
One foggy morning last week, as my sister and I were returning to the house after our farm chores, we stepped into our greenhouse to take a peak at the growing vegetables. It was quite hilarious and shocking what we saw when we walked in.....MUSHROOMS peppering the straw-bales! Apparently, they speedily grew overnight because my other sister had pulled up the previous "batch" the day before. Well, since the light was nicely diffused by the greenhouse walls, I couldn't help but run to go get my camera. And what a delight and blessing it was to spend a good 15 minutes out there, capturing a very small fraction of the vast array of beauty He created. May we all be diligently recognizing the little "things" in life - always praising the LORD and giving Him glory for who He is and what He does. "Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:" Jeremiah 32: 17 KJV |
